This page will show the latest news of my robot or R.C. work, or the latest news that I may have heard around the robot community. -Sean- Wednesday, September 26 2001 For my tribute to the country, I put an American Flag on my R.C. car. Even though I may be more German than American, I'm an American citizen. I'm gonna start calling my little implement of destruction "Scorpion" now, instead of just "R.C. Car". Also Battlebots is announcing their fourth season on their site. It'll happen November 3-11 in San Fransisco on Treasure Island, again. I won't have a bot entering, but I look forward to seeing some cool new bots on TV. Battlebots.com Sunday, September 16 2001 Even though the Attack on America massacre has happened last Tuesday, I'm not letting it affect me too much, so I came up with a new spinner using some spare time I had. I took the blades I had with my latest spinner, and I cut them in half. I used more Erector pieces and four small metal plates to create it. This spinner is different from my other one. My new one has four blades with those metal plates at tips, used to cut into things good. This one also spins counter clockwise, unlike my other one. Sorry I don't have a picture yet, but when I get the camera back, I will have it. Sunday, Septmeber 9 2001 The ideas keep coming. I made an interchangeable diagonal spinner. The blade is just like the verticle spinner, accept it's about 2 times longer. It spins extremely fast at about 6000 rpms, I am guessing. It's better for cutting and piercing things, because of the speed and the sharp corners. Wednesday, September 5 2001 A couple of updates to report. First, I have a few more pictures in my Lego Bot's page. I got the new motor mount picture in the R.C. Projects page. And last but not least, I don't stop coming up with ideas. I've put an interchangeable vertical spinner on the back of my R.C. car. Read more about it in my R.C. Projects page. Wednesday, August 29 2001 After getting back from my vacation, my dad suggested and helped me with a new motor mount for my spinner on my car. This thing holds out much better, but it bends sometimes. Due to occupational difficulties, I haven't got a picture YET...but one will come up soon. Friday, August 24 2001
